BSHAA annual conference gives way to “milestone” regional roadshows
The British Society for Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA) has announced a change in its events planning for 2024. Instead of an anticipated spring conference over two days, the association has decided to hold five separate regional roadshow days throughout the year. All events are members-only
The first BSHAA Roadshow will take place on March 2 in Manchester, alongside World Hearing Day (March 3), and the confirmed keynote speaker for that date will be Professor Simon Lloyd, Consultant Otologist and Skull Base Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Salford Royal Hospital. Prof. Lloyd is a luminary in the field of otolaryngology. His expertise spans ear, skull base, and hearing implant surgery, marked by a commitment to outstanding clinical outcomes, cutting-edge research, and excellence in medical education.
Subsequent 2024 BSHAA roadshows are ready for your diary:
Cardiff: Friday, May 24
Edinburgh: Saturday, July 20
Belfast: Friday, September 20
London: Saturday, December 7
BSHAA has aimed to keep the ticket price, including lunch, to a minimum. During the early booking window (January 8 to February 5, 2024), members can enjoy a substantial 50% off the regular booking fee, reducing it to £25 per person. To secure your spot, click here. Places are limited.
Current BSHAA President Rob Donnan called the BSHAA Roadshow programme “a significant milestone for our organisation”.
“This series of events reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our members. I encourage BSHAA members to make the most of the early booking offer of a 50% discount during the dates indicated. Let’s make 2024 a year of connection, knowledge, and shared success!” said Donnan.
