The Amplifon-owned brand GAES has acquired the OirT Hearing Centres network, mostly spread throughout Andalusia. "With this operation, GAES reinforces its commitment to hearing health and strengthens the company's position in the country," GAES commented.

GAES, which in 2024 celebrates 75 years of activity in Spain, has acquired a network of 31 hearing centres from OirT. The merger fee has not been disclosed.
GAES, owned by the Italy-based retail giant in hearing, Amplifon, stressed in a statement post-acquisition that its chain of businesses "stands out for its special customer service, the professionalism of its audiologists, and its innovative audiological protocols". Its 31 additional hearing centres are located mainly in Andalusia in cities such as Malaga, Seville, Granada, Cadiz and Cordoba, and on the island of Menorca. These centres are operated by a team of some 60 hearing care professionals.
