Now in its 15th year, the annual Middle East Otolaryngology Conference and Exhibition (ME-OTO) has taken place from April 1 to 3 in Dubai.

ME-OTO is the region’s leading meeting place for Otolaryngologists and Audiologists. The 2018 event has attracted over 70 companies from 18 countries and over 150 international speakers.

Our aim in this issue isto show off the riches that come from sharingknowledge, know-how, and means destinedtowards the achievement of amazing objectives.

So, you can read and learn about the EuropeanSchool on Interdisciplinary Tinnitus (ESIT) project,which is bringing together young people from overten countries. We also cover cooperation betweenthe KU Leuven University (Belgium) and the TechnicalUniversity of Valencia (Spain) in order to develop theD-Noise system, which will advance patient testingand enhance comfort for the general public in manydifferent situations.

Finally, we feature a different approach on howto place the otology profession at the everydayassistance of people, in leisure time too, and thisagain involves teamwork, this time in Italy andfocusing on prevention.
