Rayovac is looking for heroes

Glen Rutherford, Senior Commercial Director at Rayovac’s parent company Energizer Holdings, explained: “After such a difficult few years, in which the hard-of-hearing community had to fundamentally change their day-to-day lives when navigating the challenges introduced by the need to wear face coverings, we wanted to give individuals across the globe the opportunity to nominate someone who they consider their Hearing Hero to say ‘thank you.’ It could be a thank you for offering support, providing care, going the extra mile or just having a positive impact on their hearing journey.

The RAYOVAC Hearing Heroes campaign brings the brand back to familiar promotional territory: for many years, Rayovac sponsored the Europe-wide Audiologist of the Year competition, which became one of the first campaigning casualties of the pandemic, and has not so far been revived.

To help raise awareness, RAYOVAC has created a suite of useful resources for hearing care personnel to download and use in their practice to make sure everyone knows about RAYOVAC Hearing Heroes, and how they can get involved. This toolkit for hearing care professionals contains everything they might need to let their patients know how they can nominate.

Using a quick and simple online form which goes live on World Hearing Day , individuals will be able to put forward their nominations and words of thanks. To ensure clients and customers know about the campaign, all hearing care professionals can spread the word through their community and networks by encouraging them to visit the platform here.

Nominations open on March 3, 2023 and will remain open for six weeks until they close on April 14. The nominees will all appear in an online wall of fame starting May 3, 2023.
