2020 Audiologist of the Year: entries simplified and digitalised
recognition
A simplified, online-only entry process has been set up by the organisers of the European Audiologist of the Year Award for its 2020 competition, the 13th annual quest search to find audiologists of excellence who change people's lives for the better.
The award is run by leading battery manufacturer, Rayovac, a division of Energizer Holdings, Inc., in partnership with leading international hearing publication for the audiology industry Audio Infos, the European Hearing Instrument Manufacturers Association (EHIMA), and the European Federation of Hard of Hearing People (EFHOH).
Audiologists and their patients, from the UK, France, Germany, the Republic of Ireland, Netherlands and Spain are invited to nominate their hearing practitioner, describing the difference they have made to their lives.
A digital toolkit available here includes graphics and content for audiologists' websites, email newsletters and digital screens in waiting rooms. Nominations can be made online in time for the closing date on Friday 26th June.
Paula Brinson-Pyke, Director of Marketing at Rayovac, said: “We have simplified the nomination process for Audiologist of the Year, by bringing it wholly online in 2020. This makes it much easier for audiologists and their patients to review the entry requirements and make their entries.”
“In addition to the hard-copy pack which is available via Rayovac’s sales team and includes table talkers, business cards, posters and entry forms that audiologists can display in their waiting rooms, we have created a downloadable pack which includes digital items that can be used in email newsletters, social media and on audiology practice websites materials to encourage entries. These can be included with a link to the competition website from your practice website, patient newsletter, or could be something you ask your customer care team to mention when booking appointments or making follow-up calls,” she continued.
