THE TINNITUS WEEK THAT WAS...a success of "dedication and collaboration"

During Tinnitus Week in February 2025, Tinnitus UK published a new report on the current status of care for this condition in the UK. It was based on a survey of hundreds of audiologists working in the UK. Initial analysis of the data suggests unacceptable delays facing tinnitus patients on ENT waiting lists that can stretch to three years, insufficient training and supervision in relation to tinnitus, and the use of assessment techniques not recommended within NICE guidelines.
