WIN-WIN FOR ALL - EUHA 2024 stats and photos
Innovative products, up-to-date knowledge, and three days of opportunities for networking made the 2024 EUHA Congress a "win-win situation for all participants", say the organisers.
Over 130 exhibitors from 19 countries presented hundreds of innovations in Hall 6 of the vast Deutsche Messe complex in Hanover.
The top four exhibiting countries were Germany (58%), China, Denmark, and France. Forty-two percent of exhibitors came from abroad.
Held on beautiful autumnal days, from 16 to 18 October 2024, the EUHA Congress recorded around 8,700 participants.
Save the date: October 22 to 24, 2025 – the next EUHA Congress.
26 expert presentations, five tutorials, and the now habitual special Future Friday programme.
The EUHA Knowledge Symposium kicked off the scientific lecture programme, which was supported by 38 national and international speakers. Professor Torsten Dau, from the Technical University of Denmark, opened the event with a presentation entitled New trends in technical compensation strategies for hearing aids.
This year, EUHA featured an innovation: the EUHA Live Area, a central meeting and networking point on all three days. The Live Area had its own stage schedule, presenting complementary topics to the main congress programme.
Prestigious visitors included Dr. Andreas Philippi the Lower Saxony Minister for Social Affairs, Labour, Health and Equality, whose speech underlined a key message: “Successful communication, social participation and fair educational opportunities are only possible if hearing impairments are corrected.”
EUHA chooses an international partner each year, this year: Denmark. Peder Søgaard-Pedersen, Director of Denmark’s largest employers’ organisation, Dansk Industri, gave a welcome address on behalf of his country.
