Sheffield is the venue on May 31 for a tinnitus info roadshow - and it's free!

Stress, confusion, and isolation accompany tinnitus, so improving the wellbeing of sufferers is a priority for the UK charity, Tinnitus UK, which has been successfully trying out a roadshow format to get help out there.

Sheffield is the venue on May 31 for a tinnitus info roadshow – and it’s free!

It’s on May 31, and Sheffield is the next stop for the free Tinnitus Information Roadshow run by Tinnitus UK.

The charity’s tinnitus experts will be giving talks about the basic facts on tinnitus, treatments available, how to manage stress and methods of relaxation, but these events are packed with tinnitus-oriented elements, including guest speakers, taster sessions in activities such as yoga and mindfulness, and an exhibition featuring stands from a range of different tinnitus service providers.

This inclusive event is free of charge to attend for the general public, so everyone is welcome, says the group. There is even a light lunch and refreshments free of charge.

No small advantage in terms of inclusion is the communication support the organisers provide for people with hearing loss.
