The campaign raises Rayovac's profile but is "more consumer-focused rather than B2B", a way for Rayovac to say thank you to its customers and audience.

RAYOVAC CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES HEARING CARE HEROES

Battery manufacturer RAYOVAC has announced a list of saintly professionals and others who have gone the extra mile and justly qualify for a place in an online Hall of Hearing Heroes.

This is a new year in Rayovac’s annual Hearing Heroes campaign, and the company chose Deaf Awareness Week (May 6 to 13) to make its recognition public. .

Nominations were submitted from countries across Europe including the UK, France, and Spain and is available online. It features individuals from organisations across the UK, including Kelly Hearing, Isabella Fisher Independent Hearing Care, Alto Hearing & Tinnitus Specialists, Hearing Healthcare Practice, and Steven Hale Hearing.

The RAYOVAC Hearing Heroes campaign was launched on March 3 to mark World Hearing Day 2024. The online platform gave people an opportunity over a period of seven weeks to nominate the Hearing Heroes. UK nominees included audiologists, family members and hearing care professionals. Testimonials rolled in, for example:

  • Robert showed outstanding kindness and patience to me when I encountered problems. He did all he could to help me and the excellent service I received has transformed my life.”
  • Vicky is a kind and sincere lady who is absolutely brilliant at her job.…I would highly recommend Vicky and the change in my father’s hearing has made a huge difference.”
  • I would like to nominate my wife, Jackie. Her continued support is always greatly appreciated. …Jackie has and will continue to support me and help with living life to the full.”
  • Steven is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He has provided perfect hearing aids for me but has also helped me learn to live with Tinnitus and Vertigo.”
  • I see Isabella go above and beyond every day and that is why she is my Hearing Hero.”

Among those nominated was audiologist Steven Hale, who received a total of 54 nominations from the patients he has supported at his practice in Birmingham. Steven has been described as ‘truly the best’, with many thanking him for his outstanding knowledge and services.

Paula Brinson Pyke, Marketing Director at Energizer Holdings, explained: “We are once again proud to celebrate the transformational work of the hearing care industry and the individuals who provide support. It was inspiring to see almost 90 people getting involved in the campaign and submitting nominations.”

This marks the campaign’s second consecutive year, and we’ve received a fantastic response from both the general public and individuals within the hearing care industry. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to get involved and a huge well done to this years’ RAYOVAC Hearing Heroes.”
