Historic jazz venue Ronnie Scott's hosts safe listening event for World Hearing Day
Hearing is essential to how we connect, experience culture, and navigate the world. But the World Health Organisation (WHO) says 1.1 billion teenagers and young adults are at risk of permanent hearing loss due to exposure to unsafe recreational sound levels. In the UK alone, one in six people live with hearing loss.

Hoping to mark World Hearing Day (March 3) with a milestone event for hearing conversation the Listen for Life campaign is holding an official launch at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in Soho, London. The initiative encapsulates efforts to move forward in hearing health, safeguarding the workforce, patrons and customers of night-time venues from hearing loss and tinnitus.
