appointments
Signia US has appointed Mike O’Neil as its new president, with complete responsibility for the brand’s management and development. He will work under the recently appointed US president for WS Audiology, Daniel Liberman,
O’Neil joins Signia from Essilor of America, the world’s leading ophthalmic lens manufacturer. Previously, the new Signia boss held sales, sales leadership, and business unit management positions at Dentsply Sirona, a world leader in dental products, and AT&T Wireless Services.
“I am excited to join Signia at this pivotal moment in its history and contribute to the success of our customers, their patients, and our company,” said O’Neil, who assumed the role last October, ahead of this January announcement.
It was only in May 2020 that Daniel Liberman joined the Danish hearing aid and hearing health services company WS Audiology as President for the US region and member of Group Management. Like O’Neil, he was also previously at Essilor, as Chief Commercial Officer.
Welcoming his former colleague, Liberman declared: “Mike brings more than 20 years of customer-focused, brand-centric experience to Signia. He understands how to listen and respond to the customer’s need for brand-based sales and business development programs that meet their ever-evolving objectives. I am confident he will introduce a new era of innovation for Signia that will serve our customers, and their patients, well.”
