BSHAA Roadshows and Panel Discussions Highlight Challenges and Potential Solutions for Audiology

BSHAA – The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists is over halfway through a series of nationwide roadshows, with outstanding turnouts at Manchester, Cardiff, and Edinburgh.

Addressing Key Issues in Audiology

In response to the release of several important reports, including those from the RNID and Specsavers, BSHAA held its first-ever face-to-face panel discussion in Edinburgh.

The panel featured esteemed representatives from NHS, independent, and high-street audiology, who along with our members and guests, came together to explore solutions for the pressing issues currently affecting audiology across both public and private healthcare. There were insightful suggestions on how to tackle key challenges such as access to hearing services, the quality of patient care, and the future of audiology.

As demand for hearing care continues to rise, the panel emphasised the importance of cross-sector collaboration in improving patient outcomes and bridging existing service gaps.
