Amplifon: record revenues and profitability in 2015

In a recent press release, Amplifon announced record results reaching the target of EUR 1 billion in sales, strong growth in its profitability with positive contributions from all regions, record free cash-flow generation, and further network expansion.
In more detail, the company posted consolidated revenues of EUR 1,034 million, up 16.1% at current exchange rates, up 11.3% at constant exchange rates versus 2014. Earnings amounted to over EUR 167 million, an increase of 21.6% over the previous year, and net profit reached EUR 52.8 million, a massive 47.4% increase. Free cash-flow was nearly EUR 90 million.
“All the regions contributed to this performance, reporting significant improvement in terms of revenues growth and profitability. These achievements are the result of our strategic decisions: our ability to accelerate growth, both organically and through acquisitions, and our business model increasingly focused on the consumer,” said Enrico Vita, Amplifon’s Chief Executive Officer.
Amplifon reports that it continued its international expansion program in 2015, adding 149 stores and 86 shop-in-shops to its network. The new sales points are mainly located in Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Australia. Acquisitions included 111 stores and 9 shop-in-shops, mainly in France and Germany.
Looking forward, the company is expecting continued strong development of revenues and profitability. It is looking to new marketing initiatives, innovative service solutions, and continued network expansion to reach its goals.
